Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Strivex Fitness App (Web, iOS, Android). By registering, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Strivex provides a fitness social platform with the following features:

• Daily and special fitness challenges with XP system
• Social feed, direct messages, and leaderboard
• Step integration (Apple Health, Health Connect)
• Pro membership with extended features (in-app purchase)
• Push notifications

3. Registration & Account

• You must be at least 13 years old
• Your username must be unique and must not contain offensive content
• You are responsible for the security of your account
• Each person may only create one account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Not provide false information (e.g., manipulating step counts)
• Not post offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Not misuse the app (spam, bots, scraping)
• Not harass or threaten other users
• Not post content for which you do not hold the rights

4a. Zero-Tolerance Policy & Moderation

Strivex enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following rules apply to all user-generated content (posts, messages, profiles, comments):

• Offensive, discriminatory, violent, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
• Users can report any post to our team using the "Report" feature.
• Users can block other users; blocked users are removed from the feed instantly and can no longer make contact.
• We review reported content within 24 hours and remove confirmed violations, along with suspending the offending user.
• Repeated or severe violations result in permanent removal from the app.

5. Pro Membership

Pro membership is processed through in-app purchases in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The respective store terms apply. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's store policies — not directly by Strivex.

6. Intellectual Property

All app content (design, logos, code, challenge content) is the property of Strivex. User-generated content remains the property of the respective users, but by posting, you grant a license for use within the app.

7. Limitation of Liability

Strivex is a fitness app and does not replace medical advice. Use the app responsibly. Strivex is not liable for health damages caused by excessive training. App availability may be temporarily limited.

8. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or permanently delete accounts for violations of these terms — especially for spam, fraud, or offensive content. You can delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to you in the app. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

German law applies. Jurisdiction is Germany.
